Australia Bush Fires
Please check out this link
HERE on how we can help our Australian friends who are going through such a difficult time. My heart goes out to them. I am so glad that there is a way we can help through scrapbooking.
Jennifer has kindly arranged to ship the layouts people create and to cover the cost of shipping internationally. Please check out her post
HERE for the address and details.
I know that I will be creating as many layouts as I can.
Quickutz Silhouette
If you are an owner of the Silhouette, have you downloaded the
update for the online store? It is
fabulous. The new design is so sleek and amazing. Plus, QK is now offering subscriptions for downloading their designs. Read all about it
HERE. I just downloaded loads of new things yesterday! :)
Button Organization
On my never ending quest for the perfect button storage solution, I decided that having all my buttons in one jar, all mixed up, was not working for me. So, I have spent a bit of time sorting them into individual glass storage jars. And then I was in our storage room and I happened across this wine holder that I didn't really have a spot for in the house at the moment and it crossed my mind that the glass jars might just fit in the slots. And you know what? They did! I was more than a little tickled with myself. ha! Here's a peek at how great this looks on my shelf. I love it.
2peas Midmonth Garden
The mid-month Garden is fantastic. So much eye candy. I shared my Love layout in this
POST a couple of days ago and here's my other mid-month layout:
(c) Two Peas In A Bucket
This layout was inspired by the fabulous
Sheri Reguly. Her work is
amazing. In fact, she has the layout of the week over at
Hero Arts. Check it out
HERE. I just can't get enough of her work!
More Project 365
I still need to do a bit of work on the last couple of weeks layouts but here's a couple more for now. :)
I'm still plugging away on my album. I really love the process and I love recording just those random everyday things that make up our lives. Those things that tend to get forgotten when scrapping those big events and holidays, etc.
week of january 18-24:
week of january 25-31:
On this one I had two vertial photos I wanted to use and I wanted to try something different than placing those photos in the smaller "journaling card pockets". I remembered seeing on Becky's blog that there were a few downloadable digital kits available with Project 365 KOTM components so I downloaded the files and used the 4x6 cards and digitally created the 4x6 inserts for the 30th and 31st. So fast and easy. Click HERE for the link to download the Project 365 pieces.
I'll be back with more tomorrow.
Have a good one!
very cool ideas :) thanks for share... although, I have to admit. I am very jealous that you have a kit! Hope mine gets here sometime soon :)

The buttons storage idea is slick! I keep mine separated by color in little baggies and then all shoved into a clear drawer. I tried the jar thing too and it was a nightmare!
As always, love your layout! The combination of rub-ons, rhinestones, and butterflies works great!

Hi-
I love how you are using different ideas/layouts in the 365 project. I didn't get a kit, so I am making my up as I go. But, it looks like you are typing up your journaling? I just wondered if you are. I have downloaded all of the stuff from Becky's blog, but then started making my own journaling cards, but I like how yours look.
Let me know if you are typing them up.
Thanks!
Melissa

Nichol
So sad about the fires. I hope they are able to have saved some of the memories.
I am going to check into Quickutz and see if I can convert the files to be used with "Sure Cuts a Lot" for Cricut. Thanks I will ask around on SCal site. This would be so much fun to use all these yummy cut files.
Love your new button storage. I bet you were dancing when you discovered these jars would work with your wine rack. Looks
great too!
Great job on your Sunkissed layout! Love the punch and pretty design. Payton looks so cute too in her tan.
Thanks for the download for 365 project! Great to see you are keeping up. It is hard to do with so much going on :)
Have a sweet day!

Love your new button organization. Just wanted to pop in & say how much I enjoy your Seasons class at 2peas. I've always liked your videos & learn so many new "little" things that really make a fantastic layout

Thank you for posting the link to Becky's Blog. I am using her kit for Project 365, but I didn't know that she had posted the digital elements for download. This will give me some variety for my vertical pictures. Thanks again for the link!

Grate that you found a way to be a part of the Australia bush fires help.
Grate thinking on the button storage, buttons can be so decorative, and you sure have made a grate display.
