Today I have a card share showcasing some of my favorite things:
Whiff of Joy Stamps + Hero Arts Stamps + Die Cuts.
I created this card several weeks ago just for fun during a craft day with my daughter and Payton loved it so much that she re-created one of her own to send to her pen pal.
First I die cut the label using a Tim Holtz die and Copic X-Press Paper (perfect for Copic coloring).
Then I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the girl on the label.
Next, I masked the girl using Inkadinkadoo Masking paper and stamped the tree stump so that the girl appears to be kneeling on the stump.
Then I masked the stump.
I used the Hero Arts Soft Pool Shadow Ink and Clouds background stamp over the masked images to create my favorite background. :)
Then I used the Ranger Ink Blending Tool and Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink to add "grass" to the image.
I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the edges of the die cut label and removed the masks.
I finished the card by coloring in the image with Copic Markers and adding a touch of Black Soot Distress Ink to the edge of the die cut label.
I stamped the Friend Definition Cling Background Stamp on some Papertrey Ink Aqua Mist Cardstock using the Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
I added ribbon, gems and flower brads to the card to card and adhered everything to a white cardstock card base.
Thanks for stopping by!
