Welcome to the December Studio AE Blog Hop!
This month the design team is featuring projects showcasing the December Studio AE stamp set, "It's Ok by Ali Edwards".
This is one of those stamp sets that isn't theme specific and will work for so many different themes and styles of pages. I love stamp sets like this where you can mix and match the phrases and images into many many layouts.
Here's a layout I created with the December stamp set:
I added stamping to my computer generated journaling block with two of the phrase stamps from the new set. I stamped one phrase in brown ink and the other with Colorbox White Chalk Ink. The white ink was a little light, so I went over the stamped image with a white Uni-ball Pen for more defnition.
I lightly misted my journaling block with Studio Calico Clay and White Mister Huey Inks then stapled it in place using the Tiny Attacher.
I used two phrase stamps on an October Afternoon label sticker, stamping the phrases with Pool and Crumb Cake Stampin' Up Inks. Then I tucked the label sticker under a patterned paper strip and the photo collage. Tucking bits and pieces like this helps "ground" elements on your pages so that they don't feel like they are flying off the page or lost in space.
The wheat, windmill and title are all designs by Kerri Bradford (and linked in the supplies below).
The wagon wheel is a design by Loni Stevens from the Silhouette Online Store:

I love grouping die cuts like this on a page for a more substantial look that tells a better story. I used lots os layering to make the die cuts stand out more against the patterned paper background. I added SC Clay Mister Huey ink to both the wheat die cut and the die cut word "enjoy".
