Hello stampers!
Today I'm excited to be sharing a new scrapbook layout featuring Hello December by Ali Edwards, the Studio AE stamp set for October!
I used stamps from this month's stamp set and other stamps from Ali's collection to create embossed "chalkboard" art on black patterned paper from Simple Stories.
The stamped and embossed border serves as the title as well as embellishment for this page that goes in my Christmas Cards From Friends and Family Album. This is one of my most favorite albums. Ever. If you would like to see more from my album scroll down for links to all the pages I've created over the years for it!
The most useful little tool when embossing, IMO? The Embossing Buddy. This keeps those pesky little embossing powder flakes from sticking to anything but the stamped image. I LOVE it!
I was able to get eighteen photos on this 2 page spread! Whoot!
I used six stamps from the October Studio AE Stamp Set and lots and lots of other stamps in my page design! I love being able to get lots of memories on one 2-page spread!

I love your ideas for scrapbooking Christmas. So many photos and it still looks so good. How do you do it?!

I love this layout! I have an album for Christmas cards from other people, too, but I have always used multiple pages each year because I didn't want to cut the cards up. I like this idea MUCH better!! I think I will have to adapt my album this year! Thanks!

Your Christmas card pages are always fantastic. I love all of the stamping too. You've reminded me that I still have last year's cards to scrap. Better get to it before December!
