It's a busy week here on the ol' blog! I've got lots and lots of card projects to share with you this week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the Large Stitched Journaling Card Die set. With Easter coming up this weekend I thought it would be fun to create a 4x6 Project Life style card using the large stitched die.
I die cut the 4x6 card from some 12x12 Let's Polka Collection paper. I also die cut another 4x6 card from the green polka dot paper to retain that fun stitched edge and then I took the Grassy Border Die and cut a 6" long border from each long side of the card to layer at the bottom of the aqua background.
I stamped images from the Happy Easter Stamp Set and colored them in with Prismacolor colored pencils, blending the colors with Gamsol. I added dimensional detail to the bunnies tail with the Marvy Snow Marker. It goes on wet and when you add heat with a heating tool it puffs up to create a realistic fluffy "tail".
I die cut the speech bubble from a 12x12 Hello Sunshine patterned paper (I thought the lines were perfect for adding journaling!) using the die from the Large Stitched Journaling Card Die set. I added a title using Milo's ABC's stamped with Simon Says Stamp Inks.
A sunshine and clouds cut using the Spring Showers Dies to complete my journaling card.
