I love creating watercolor looks with Distress Inks (like I did on THESE cards) and I've got a simple watercolor style card today using a text stamp (sorry, this stamp isn't available for purchase) and some florals from the Avery Elle Oh Happy Day Stamp Set.
The handwriting on this awesome text stamped greeting is by my sweet friend, Heather Ruwe and Hero Arts was kind to make these into rubber stamps for her to share with some "crafty friends" at a get together.
Using Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper I inked up the greeting stamp with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink near the top of the design. Then approximately halfway down the greeting, I inked it up with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and finally I ended with the Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I spirtzed the stamps 2-3 times with water using the Mini Mister and pressed the stamp onto the Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper. I like to hold the stamp to the paper for a few seconds to really let the ink/water absorb into the paper. Once lifted the ink pools a bit and gives a lovely soft watercolor look!
(Please check below for some links to similar stamp designs that would work with this technique.)

I added some florals from the Avery Elle Oh Happy Day Stamp Set using the same technique, mixing a couple of colors for the purple and yellow flowers for more dimension.
The pink flower is Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.
