My card today showcases my favorite background stamp from the January Release, Damask Background Stamp as well as the Smitten with You Stamp Set, Puzzle Die-namics die, LJD All My Love Stamp Set and LJD All My Love Die-namics.
To create the background, I stamped the Damask Background Stamp on Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the image with white embossin powder. I took the Tim Holtz Barn Door Distress Ink and Mini Ink Blending Tool and applied the ink over the stamped and embossed backbround. The embossed areas resisted the ink. I wiped any ink from the embossed areas using a soft dry cloth. I die cut the background using the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints Die-namics 13 Die Collection and adhered the background to a Whip Cream Cardstock card base.
I die cut the Puzzle Die-namics die from Whip Cream Cardstock and Wild Cherry Cardstock. I stamped the greeting from the Smitten with You Stamp Set on the puzzle heart using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and Wild Cherry Hybrid Ink. I replaced the red heart inside the puzzle heart and adhered it to my card with foam adhesive. Iapplied a layer of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the heart, then a layer of Glossy Accents.
I finished my card with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins in 6mm and 4mm and adhered small pearl or clear gemstones to the center of each.
