Mama Elephant Designer Series | BEAR HUGS (video)

Today I have a card featuring the new Bear Hugs Stamp Set and coordinating Bear Hugs Creative Cuts dies. I created a clean and simple card design today but added interest to both the base layer and the greeting with Sew Fancy Creative Cuts dies.

To create this card I stamped the images from the Bear Hugs Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock and colored them in with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies). I die cut the images with the coordinating Bear Hugs Creative Cuts dies and added detailing to the eyes and noses with the Sakura Black Gel Pen.

For the card base, I die cut another piece of smooth white cardstock using the A2 size Sew Fancy Creative Cuts die. I die cut a label for the greeting from another of the Sew Fancy Creative Cuts dies.

I stamped a greeting on the card base and the "thank you" greeting on the die cut label. I attached the label to the card base with foam adhesive.

I added "shadow" beneath the bears' feet using a Warm Gray Copic Marker. I adhered the bears, stamped the bee "trail" and finished with a bit of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the bee's wings.
