When the Unforgettable and Bubble Talk elephant stamps from wplus9 were released a couple of months ago I immediately snatched them up because I absolutely adore the designs. These are just the cutest little elephants and greetings and I can't wait to create even more cards with these fun designs.
I created the card with the peachy-pink balloon and elephant from the Unforgettable Stamp Set a few weeks ago at a girls weekend craft retreat and decided to re-create the same design using different colors for not only the balloon but the elephant as well. I love the simplicity of this almost single layer card.
To create the card, I die cut the rectangle from smooth white cardstock using the largest of the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Dies.
I stamped the balloon, elephant and greeting from the Unforgettable Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors for both card examples are listed and linked below in supplies).
I stamped a scattering of stars from the Unforgettable Stamp Set using Mama Elephant Buttercup and Lemongrass pigment inks and Avery Elle Aquamarine pigment ink. I added some dots with Copic Markers to fill in the rest of the "scattering stars" design and used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker over the balloon for some sparkle and shine.
And the other card using Warm Gray Copic Markers and peachy-pink Copic Markers for the balloon...
