Happy last day of 2015!
The Simon Says Stamp You Have My Heart Release is filled with happy, loving, positive messages and images.
Today I have a trio of happy Heart Vent inlay-style cards to share with you. I am in love with the new heart dies from this release. I am always drawn to hearts anyway but the Heart Vent, Scribble Heart, and Light Ray Heart have me swooning! I will be sharing a Valentine's-themed project with these dies coming next month!
To create my card, I first die cut the stitched heart panel by combining a Stitched Square Die with the Heart Vent Die and die cutting them from smooth white cardstock. I die cut the Heart Vent from multiple colors of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock and set the pieces aside for a moment.
I stamped greetings from the I See You Stamp Set below the Heart Vent cut out on the white square using Simon Says Stamp Black Ink. I flipped the squares over and completely covered the back of each with foam adhesive. When you flip the panel back to the front you're left with adhesive through the cut-outs in which to adhered the colorful die cut strips! I created several different designs by changing up the colors/strips I used! So easy and fun.
I die cut another Stitched Square from Black Cardstock using the next size bigger die and matted the inlay panel on the black cardstock before adhering the piece to a top fold card, trimmed down to 4 1/4" square. These are so quick and easy, you'll want to create a whole set!

Oh, they're so pretty! Unique! I just love Simons Says. I'm trying to build up a collection of dies, and love their wafer thin ones. Thanks for the opportunity to win - that would be so great!

That's one cool heart. I love "clean and graphic" style cards. What's especially great is that because it's not all flowery and frilly, it will be great for the guy in my life.
