To start my card I trimmed a piece of white cardstock from the kit to 4.25" x 5.5" and stamped the umbrella from the Happy Days Stamp Set using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I created a mask for the image by stamping the umbrella again on masking paper, cutting the image out and placing it over the umbrella. The first image stamped is going to be in the forefront of the design.
Next I stamped the umbrella image over and over again (using post it tape over the face when inking and then removing before stamping) to make the rest of the umbrellas "plain" without a face. I colored in the umbrellas with Copic Markers, reapplied the masks and inked the background with Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Inks using a Mini Ink Blending Tool.
I stamped the raindrops from the Happy Days Stamp Set using the Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink, added "highlights" using a white Sakura Opaque Pen and finishing the raindrops with Glossy Accents.
I trimmed up the scene and added thin strips of black cardstock along the top and bottom of the design. I adhered the panel to a white top fold card base.
I stamped the thought bubble and greeting from the Happy Days Stamp Set on white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink, fussy cut the greeting and adhered it to the card with foam adhesive.
I finished the card with a scattering of sequins attached with Bling Glue Dots.
