Welcome to the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the awesome new interactive Simple Pop Ups Dies and Stitched Hillside Pop Ups Dies. These awesome interactive dies allow you to not only create beautiful card fronts but you can make the inside of your cards the star of the show! I paired the Stitched Hillside Pop Up with the brand new Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Dies, Jump For Joy Stamps and Dies, Stitched Tree Borders Dies and older Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.
The cardstock elements were die cut from Lawn Fawn Rainbow Cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Pop Ups Die, Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Dies, and Stitched Tree Borders Dies. The card base was created from Lawn Fawn blue cardstock. I applied Salty Ocean Distress Ink to the card base, Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to the green cardstock die cut pieces, Fired Brick Distress Ink to the red cardstock pieces, Fossilized Amber Distress Ink to the yellow cardstock die cuts, and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink to the orange die cuts.
Images from the Jump For Joy Stamp Set, Party Animal Stamp Set, Year Five Stamp Set, Year Two Stamp Set, and Hedgehugs Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. All images were die cut with Jump For Joy Dies, Party Animal Dies, Year Five Dies, Year Two Dies, and Hedgehugs Dies.
I assembled the scene on the front of the card and the pop up scene on the inside of the card. I added stamped greetings from the Jump For Joy Stamp Set using black ink. I finished the card by adding detail to the eyes with a black glaze pen and the stardust glitter pen to parts of the party hats, candle, and gift boxes.
