Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Plan On It Holidays Stamp Set and Merry Messages Stamp Set! The Plan On It Holidays Stamp Set isn't just for planners but works great for cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects, too! I paired these two new stamp sets with the new Scripty Merry Die and the Perfectly Plaid Winter patterned papers for this simple holiday greeting card.
For the background I die cut a rectangle from Perfectly Plaid Winter patterned papers using the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle Die. I die cut a smooth white cardstock rectangle using another die from the Large Stitched Rectangle Collection.
I carefully inked up part of a greeting from the Merry Messages Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Mermaid Ink and stamped it on the white rectangle. The snowman and mittens images from the Plan On It Holidays Stamp Set were stamped around the greeting using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The small, solid star was stamped around the background using Mermaid Ink.
A frame was die cut from Narwhal Cardstock using a Stitched Frame Rectangle Die and adhered around the stamped rectangle as shown. I adhered the framed rectangle to the plaid background as shown.
I adhered Stick It to both sides of a piece of Fun Foam and then adhered Storm Cloud Cardstock to one side before die cutting the word "Merry" using the Scripty Merry Die. I adhered the greeting to the card as shown and finished the sentiment with a layer of Glossy Accents.
Some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins and Mini Silver Star Confetti finished the design.
