It's time for my weekly video series, It's In The Details, for the Waffle Flower Inspiration Team. Every Friday I will share a new video featuring amazing Waffle Flower Stamps and Dies.
I love to sew up handmade gifts for loved ones, not just at the holidays but anytime! The Notions Stamp Set is perfect for combining the love of sewing with paper crafting and what better medium to stamp up some gift tags than on canvas! I used Ranger Sticky Back Canvas to create these adorable gift tags with the Tag Starter Kit.
I've kind of been on a kick using "older" products lately. I knew I wanted to die cut these tags from Ranger Sticky Back Canvas but I couldn't remember where I had put my stash here in the new house. After about 2 hours of searching, okay it was only 15 minutes or so, I found it! I love Sticky Back Canvas because it holds it's shape so much better than a piece of canvas fabric. And, the back is sticky. Obviously. It makes it incredible for adhering two tags back to back!
I even went way back and dug out some eyelet to complete the gift tag hole reinforcement! I may or may not have had to go look up the instructions for successfully setting eyelets with the Cropadile since it's been years since I last used one! Some twine finishes off each of the tags.
I can’t wait to sew up some creations to add these to!

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn December Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the brand new Heart Stitched Envelope Dies. I used this amazing new set to create a couple of adorable mini envelopes and enclosure cards. All I need to do to make these a gift is to put a little gift card inside! How awesome are these?!!!!
I die cut the large heart envelopes from a 12x12 piece of Perfectly Plaid Winter patterned paper using the Heart Stitched Envelope Die. I fold up the envelope and secured the sides with a strong adhesive. These envelopes will fit a gift card perfectly! I love how the white and gray plaid paper looks with the solid red cardstock!
Tiny, tiny hearts die cut from silver foil and silver glitter specialty papers using the heart Valentine's Borders Die complete the enclosure cards.

I stamped the greeting(s) from the Octipi My Heart Stamp Set on a piece of acetate using Cotton White StazOn Ink. I love stamping my greetings for shakers on the acetate window so that the greeting is never covered up by the shaker material.
I assembled the shaker as shown and filled it with some micro beads for "bubbles" in this underwater love-themed scene! The larger hearts were adhered to the front of the shaker for a pop of color.
To makde the background of the card more interesting, I added a couple of layers of die cut smooth white cardstock. The background is still white but so much more interesting because of the texture of the die cuts! I used the largest Fancy Scalloped Rectangle and a Small Dotted Rectangle Die for create the layers.

The images from the Love Letters Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using the new Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Love Letters Dies and set them aside to create the background.
I die cut a border from watercolor cardstock using a border from the new Valentine's Borders Dies. I applied Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks to the border, spritzed the border with water from a Distress Sprayer and then blotted the background dry with a paper towel. I stamped greetings from the Love Letters Stamp Set with black ink and then adhered the die cut images above the greeting as shown.
I die cut the background with the heart border from a white piece of paper and backed the panel with pink cardstock. I adhered the border to the background with foam adhesive and finished the design with Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Heart Confetti and Sparkling Clear sequins.

Welcome to Day 3 of my last minute Handmade Holiday 2016 Series!
I'm back with my third year of last minute handmade ideas! Even with the craziness of the season I like to be able to add handmade touches to gifts for our friends and family. Over the next two weeks I'll be sharing mostly quick (an hour or less) Handmade Holiday ideas for cards, tags and gift wrapping sure to add that handmade touch we all love. Most ideas will include multiples (today I created five felt plush gift tags/ornaments)! The ornaments all together took longer than an hour but you could easily create one in under an hour, maybe even two if you're a quick stitcher! ;)
Each Handmade Holiday project blog post will feature a brand new, never before seen project(s) plus at least one incredible giveaway from a generous sponsor!I
FELT PLUSH CRITTER ORNAMENTS/GIFT TAGS
Not only are these felt plush ornament tags a great way to adorn a gift package but the "tag" itself is an ornament the recipient can use for years to come! Almost any of the plush dies can be made into a "holiday" ornament by adding holiday accents or colors!
I created a the greenery for a holly bundle to adhere to some of the ornaments from the Plush Carrot Bunny Die Set. I used red pearl gemstones for the berries.
I made sure to decorate both sides of the plush ornaments for cute, complete ornaments. Doodlebug black Sprinkles were used for the eyes of the critters.

Highlight a beautiful stamped greeting with a die cut frame and some simple stamping for a clean and simple holiday greeting card.
A bit of Wink of Stella Glitter Pen added to the hearts adds subtle shimmer and a few scattered diamond gemstones add additional sparkle. I finished the card with an additional stamped greeting from the Homemade Christmas Stamp Set on the inside of the design.

This is a month that we celebrate the love of die-cutting in our crafting projects! Die cuts are a fantastic and fun way to add pizzazz to your cards! I used three of the new dies on my card share today: Missing You Dies, Dot Scallop Border Die, and Bear Hugs Die.
I die cut a panel for the top of my card from watercolor cardstock using the Dot Scallop Border Die. I applied Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I adhered the bears along the curve of the die cut panel as shown.
I die cut the "missing you" greeting from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam using the scripty Missing You Dies. I applied Black Soot Distress Ink and adhered the greeting to the card along the die cut edge as shown.
I applied Glossy Accents to the hearts in the center of the bears and then finished the card with a scattering of diamond gems adhered with Ranger Multi Matte Medium.

Hello friends and welcome to Day 9 of the 12 Designers of Christmas event for Honey Bee Stamps! The 12 Designers of Christmas will be an event where Honey Bee has 1 spotlight designer each day for the first 12 days of December. I'm excited that the Flakey Friends Stamp Set and Flakey Sentiments Stamp Set I'm using today are on sale for 25% off for today only!
I die cut the frame and background for the design from watercolor cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped the snowy landscape using an image from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set and stamped snowflakes from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set and the Flakey Sentiments Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I applied Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over the background and frame as shown for the embossed resist technique. I buffed the excess ink off the embossed areas with a paper towel and then assembled the snowman and coffee cups as shown.
I stamped a greeting from the Flakey Sentiments Stamp Set on the acetate layer with black StazOn Ink. I adhered the acetate to the back of the frame and added two layers of foam adhesive around the edges and filled the shaker with Honey Bee glitter and seed beads.
I adhered the Honey Bee Diamonds to the front of the shaker with Ranger Multi Medium to finish the design.

REINDEER TOTE BAGS
For the past two years, I've featured a Lawn Fawn tote/treat/goodie bag as part of my Handmade Holiday Series and today it's time for the 2016 tote bags! I love these little bags for small gifts like jewelry (I tucked some pretty little Stella & Dot pretties into two of the bags) and in the other two I added some handmade felt ornaments created with Simon Says Stamp Plush Dies (those are coming to the blog soon!). The tote bag would be perfect for giving gift cards, nail polishes, small makeups and chapstick, as well as other small treats and gifts!
These gift bags are inspired by THIS card I created a few weeks ago...
I stamped images from the Cheery Christmas and Toboggan Together Stamp Sets on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers before die cutting with the coordinating Cheery Christmas Dies and Toboggan Together Dies. Detail was added to the images with a black glaze pen and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen. I adhered the images to the circle on the front of each tote bag and then assembled the tote bags as shown in the video.
I just love the gorgeous Stella & Dot Luna Pendant Necklace and it looks even more amazing paired with the Double Horn Pendant. Layering necklaces is always such a great look and one of my personal favorites! I wear hoop earrings all the time and I love the unique take on the hoop with these Stella & Dot Winding Arrow Earrings. They look amazing with many different outfits and jewelry choices.
Plus, don't forget, it's still Dot Dollars time! So for every $50 spent, you get a $25 credit for later! I love this promotion! I'm a huge fan of Stella & Dot jewelry both for myself and to give as gifts and I love having a little credit to take off future orders!
I received the product(s) mentioned in this post for free from Stella & Dot. This post also contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.
