It's time for my weekly video series, It's In The Details, for the Waffle Flower Inspiration Team. Every week I will share a new video featuring amazing Waffle Flower Stamps and Dies.
Creating an effective background scene can be as simple as a single layer background like this Hello Stampurr card I’m sharing today!
The images from Hello Stampurr were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers before being die cut with the coordinating Hello Stampurr dies.
A background panel was die cut from another piece of Bristol Cardstock using the largest Patched Layers Die. The “top" of the panel was stenciled with a Tim Holtz Bricked Stencil using Pumice Stone Distress Ink and then the top was masked off so the bottom or “floor” could be inked solid with the same color of ink! The two sections give the illusion of a room with only a bit of ink and a stencil! The Hello Stampurr images were adhered to complete the scene and embellished with black and white pens and Glossy Accents to make the designs really pop.
