Welcome to the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On Dies, Shut the Front Door Dies, and Cute Cobwebs Dies. I paired the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add Ons with the Scalloped Treat Box and the Cute Cobwebs dies for this cute little Halloween gift box! Not only does this make the most adorable gift/treat packaging but it can even be used for decoration after the gift has been given.
Elements like the tree, bats, door, window frames, cat, and roof from the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On set were die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock. The Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen was used on the bats to give them a glittery, shimmery finish. The ghost was die cut from vellum and adorned with Eerie Eyes stickers.
The cobwebs and the spider were die cut using the Cute Cobwebs dies. The web was trimmed down to fit the size and scale of the treat box better. The Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen was used on the spider for a glittery finish as well.
Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks were used to color the solid die cut panels that fit behind the windows and door die cuts. This color combination gives the illusion of the lights being on in this not-so-spooky haunted house.
The spooky tree was adhered with a bit of foam adhesive for dimension. I used Scrapbook Adhesives black foam squares as they blend into the project much better than white foam squares. You get the dimension without the unsightly white foam that would detract from the design.
