Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the coming soon How You Bean Conversation Hearts Add On Stamp Set and coordinating dies. The How You Bean stamps and add-ons have consistently been some of my very favorites from Lawn Fawn and I'm so excited to see they've added to the collection with Conversation Hearts! Perfect for Valentine's Day!
I created background layers with Lawn Fawn cardstock is Peacock, Raspberry, Chili Pepper, and Ballet Slippers using a new Lacy Borders Die to give each long edge a decorative element. So much more interesting than a straight edge and I love the stitching detail combined with the scallop. The Lawn Fawn cardstocks are my favorite cardstock colors. If you see me using cardstock in a project, 90% of the time it's Lawn Fawn! The colors are fresh and fun and they keep adding more amazing colors all the time. This release is full of several shades of brown and even kraft. With the addition of these neutrals, it really rounds out the entire collection. Love that!
On the Peacock Cardstock layer, I stamped greetings from the How You Bean Conversation Heart Add On stamp set, using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I flicked watered down Picket Fence Paint all over the background for a great distressed look.
The jar and lid from the How You Bean Stamp Set and the conversation hearts from the How You Bean Conversation Hearts Add On Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink. The hearts were stamped with greetings from the How You Bean Conversation Hearts Add On Stamp Set using Ballet Slippers, Peach Fuzz, Sunflower, Minty Fresh, and Fresh Lavender inks. The images were colored in with Copic Markers and then die cut with the How You Bean Dies and How You Bean Conversation Hearts Add On Dies.
The images and die cut border layers were adhered to the background as shown and the jar was finished with a layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
