Today I'm sharing a shaker card featuring the new Fly Away With Me Stamp Set and coordinating dies and Cloud Nine Die Collection. The sweet little elephant and balloon images in Fly Away With Me are so much fun! I'm always drawn to cute elephants and these are no exception!
I stamped the images from Fly Away With Me on Neenah Smooth White Cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine Ink and colored them in with Polychromos colored pencils blended with Gamsol and a stump pencil. I can't get over how amazing these colored pencils look blended and love that there isn't a waxy residue! Once colored, I die cut the images with the coordinating Fly Away With Me Dies.
For the background, I die cut the frame for the shaker from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the Cloud Nine frame and stitched cloud shapes. I colored in the background with Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks and spritzed the background with water from a Distress Sprayer. I stamped a greeting from Fly Away With Me in the bottom right corner of the frame with Onyx Black Versafine Ink.
The cloud shape was adhered directly to the card base before backing the shaker frame with Judikins Embossable Plastic and added two layers of foam tape before filling the shaker well with Honey Bee Stamps Clear Bubbles and Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti.
The backing paper was removed from the foam adhesive and the card was adhered to the shaker.
The design was finished by adding white dots to the elephants and a layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the balloons.
