Hello friends! Thank you so much for joining me. Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Pretty Lovely Stamp Set. I used the beautiful florals from this set to stamp and emboss the images (without masking) and watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen.
On a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock I stamped the florals and large greeting from the Pretty Lovely Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Where some of the images overlapped the first ones, I brushed away the excess embossing powder with a small paintbrush before heat setting so that I didn't have to mask the images.
The images were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen. A light wash of blue to the background helps the images to really pop.
When the paint was dry, 1/4" and 1/8" Scor Tape was adhered in strips along the top and bottom of the panel. Nuvo Gilding Flakes in Silver were applied to the tape, the excess brushed away with a blender brush.
Additional greetings from the Pretty Lovely Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink, trimmed into small strips, and adhered around the large greeting as shown.
A background was inked with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel. The background was adhered to a card base and the watercolored panel was adhered with foam adhesive.
The card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.
