Hello friends! I'm super excited to be trying out the new Pivot Pop Up Dies from Lawn Fawn today. These amazing dies make creating an amazing pop up card design so fun. Let me show you how.
The background scene was die cut from smooth white cardstock using my favorite Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop and the Little Picket Fence Border. The background sky and top of the frame were inked with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. The "pasture" was inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. Greetings from the Hay There Stamp Set were stamped on the sky using Jet Black Ink.
The Little Picket Fence Border was colored with E55 and E57 Copic Markers.
To give the frame a more substantial look and feel I adhered two plain white die cut frames one on top of another to a side fold card front and finished with the inked frame. The sky and fence border were adhered directly to the card base as shown.
Images from the Hay There Stamp Set and Rub A Dub Dub Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Hay There Dies and Rub A Dub Dub Dies.
For the inside of the card, two panels were die cut from smooth white cardstock using the largest Small Stitched Rectangle Die and the panel for the top of the scene was inked with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and the bottom panel was inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.
The Pivot Pop Up Die components were die cut from smooth white cardstock, inked like the other panels, and assembled as shown in the how to video. This interactive pop up component is so stinkin' cool, you guys!
Greetings from the Happy Happy Happy Add On Stamp Set were stamped below the pop up on the green inked panel using black ink.
Images from the Hay There Stamp Set, Rub A Dub Dub Stamp Set, and Happy Village Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Hay There Dies , Rub A Dub Dub Dies, and Happy Village Dies. The images were adhered to the pop up and background as shown. The inside scene was finished with trees from the Pivot Pop Up Dies die cut from Noble Fir and Paper Bag cardstocks.
