Hello! I'm thrilled to be guesting for wplus9 with these dimensional die cut inlay greeting cards featuring the new No One Else Stamp Set and coordinating dies. The trick to getting perfect placement of these dimensional die cut letters is to die cut the greeting from the background patterned paper first and use it as a "guide" and inlay the die cut letters right into the background! An additional stamped sentiment strip and of course the gorgeous wplus9 florals round out these pastel springtime cards!
I die cut the No One Else greeting dies from the peach and mint Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham patterned papers. The background were trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4" to leave a thin white border around the edges when adhered to the white top fold card bases.
DCWV Pastel Foil Cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and die cut with the same dies. The dimensional greetings were adhered to the backgrounds using the cut outs in the background paper as a guide.
A sentiment phrase from the No One Else Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink, trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the design below the die cut letters using foam adhesive.
Flowers and the solid leaves from the No One Else Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Dye Inks in Ballet Slippers, Peach Fuzz, Peachy Keen, Butter, Sunflower, Celery Stick, Minty Fresh, and Peacock. The outline leaves were stamped with Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers in G00, G02, and G17.
The No One Else flowers and leaves were die cut with the coordinating and adhered to the card with a combination of foam adhesive squares and liquid adhesive.
