Today I'm sharing a couple of cards created with new silhouette images from the Little Loves Collection dies. Stenciled backgrounds are the perfect backdrop to really showcase the gorgeous new Every Day's A Happy Day Die and Little Loves A2 Card Front Die.
For the backgrounds I inked up Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Inks and the Tim Holtz Rays Stencil. I blended ink over the stenciled design to completely fill the backgrounds and then went back in with the stencil and Distress Oxide Inks as needed to darken the sun rays.
The Every Day's A Happy Day Die and Little Loves A2 Card Front Die were each die cut three times from smooth white cardstock and adhered one on top of another for a bolder, more dimensional silhouette image and adhered over the backgrounds as shown.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Big Thanks Words Stamp Set were stamped either directly on the background with black ink or on black cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greetings stamped on black cardstock were trimmed into thin strips and adhered to the cards as shown.
The designs were finished with a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Kiss Me Candy Hearts embellishments.

These dies really pack a wallop! Love the rays background--the perfect thing. But I am most impressed (and yes, this is weirdly random) that you are able to do inky techniques while wearing a long-sleeved white blouse!!! I doubt I will ever be able to do that! Thanks so much.
