Starting with this release, Waffle Flower will have monthly releases on every 5th of the month! How awesome is that?!!!!
More awesome news: Waffle Flower has a new stamp size of 5x7, retailing for $20! Check out the entire April Release HERE!
I'm so super excited to share this one layer tri fold beach scene card with you today! The new 5x7 Sandy Toes Stamp Set images were just too stinkin' cute to not use every single one on a card!
I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 12 and lightly penciled a line at 4" and 8". I stamped the images from the Sandy Toes Stamp Set along the card base with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and also stamped and cut out masks for each image.
The sky was inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, the sand with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, and the ocean with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. Foam was created with dabbing Picket Fence paint along the ocean's edge where it meets the sand and a Salty Ocean Distress Marker and water brush pen add detail to the water.
Sentiments from the Sandy Toes Stamp Set were stamped along the "horizon" line was Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
The masks were removed and the images colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
A Scor Pal was used to score the card at 4" and 8" to finish the design.

Amazing, great, stunning, awesome, unfortunately is my English vocabulary not that big that I know more words to describe the things I said in Dutch by the first look of this card. What a beautiful card, so happy, so realy summerjoy especially when you, like me, grew up near the sea. Thank you so much Nichol, I love also all the tips you gave using the Zigs.
