If you've followed me for awhile you know that pop up box card are some of my favorites! Today I wanted to combine the Mama Elephant 3D Pop Up Card with the adorable Me & My Dragon stamp set and coordinating dies and Dragon Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies. This fantasy scene encouragement card was so super fun to create! Let's get started:
The base of the card was die cut from Lawn Fawn Storm Cloud Cardstock and inked with the MFT Mini Cloud Stencil and Yeti White Pigment Ink. Layers were die cut from smooth white cardstock and vellum and adhered to the inside of the card as shown. The Kingdom Trio Dies were used to die cut borders for the back panel of the card to add more interest to the night sky cloudy scene.
A sentiment from the Dragon Wishes Stamp Set was stamped in the lower corner of the front panel with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love the look of bright white embossing on a darker background.
Dragons and other images from the Me & My Dragon stamp set and Dragon Wishes stamp set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating Me & My Dragon dies and Dragon Wishes dies. The images were adhered to the scene as shown, filling in the layers, front and sides of the card.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were used on the flame coming from the dragon and clouds. Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti was adhered throughout the design.
