Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit Blog Hop!
Today I'm sharing a couple of snowflake layered embossed cards featuring lots of components from the Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit! This kit is so jam-packed, this is just a fraction of all the many, many projects that can be created with it! I am using the Comfort and Joy Stamp Set with three colors of embossing powder, including the Antique Gold included in the kit, the clear embossing ink from the kit, cardstock, Stickles, and even the matching envelopes! This kit is always super popular every year so grab your early before they are gone forever!

Watch the creation of these layered embossing holiday cards from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
I started both cards by adding some distressing to the Green Leaf and Schoolhouse Red cardstock backgrounds with Forest Moss and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks. I used a heat tool to speed up the ink drying and then stamped snowflakes from the Comfort and Joy Stamp Set on the backgrounds with clear embossing ink, switching between embossing powders, layering the Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold and White with the Hero Arts Sparkle (clear sparkly). The result is gorgeous layered snowflake backgrounds!
I stamped "Let It Snow" from the Comfort and Joy Stamp Set and heat embossed with white embossing powder. An additional sentiment from the Comfort and Joy Stamp Set was stamped on the Ivory Cardstock from the kit using Aged Mahogany or Forest Moss Ink, trimmed into a thin strip, and adhered to the cards with foam adhesive. The ink colors used for the smaller sentiment are important in tying the whole design together!
Stickles from the kit were used to add droplets and embellish the snowflakes to complete these sparkly wintery holiday cards!
