Hello friends! I'm thrilled to be guesting with MFT over on their YouTube channel! I'm sharing this die cut scene card that shares ways to re-purpose dies that are something completely different (i.e. the inside ear die cut was used to make carrots) to create a scene card. The "hair bows" are actually kit bows, the greenery is a tree topper, etc. Watch the video below for all the details on how to look at your dies differently and create fun scenes like this!

For the background I inked a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of smooth white cardstock with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Mustard Seed Distress Ink was applied through the Ray of Light Stencil for a tone-on-tone background.
The bunny was assembled as shown, Spun Sugar added to the cheeks with a sponge dauber, white pen detail added to the dies, and a fine tip black pen used to draw in eyelashes. Glossy Accents was added to the nose for a glossy finish. A Honey Bee Stamps Hug Me heart was adhered to the bunny's chest.
"Carrots" were die cut from Gina K Sweet Mango Cardstock using the inside ear piece from the Cottontail Cutie. The carrots were tucked into the "garden" as shown. The tops of the carrots were die cut from Hero Hues Kiwi Cardstock using the Tree Branch Die-namics. White pen detail was added to the carrots to finish off the scene.
Sentiments from the Sweet Friends Stamp Set were stamped on Hero Hues Kiwi Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being trimmed into thin strips and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
