Hey friends! Alcohol Lift Ink doesn't have to only be for stamps. I'm sharing this set of cards featuring Alcohol Lift Ink used with Honey Bee Stamps stencils for unique one-of-a-kind backgrounds. The Polka Dot Background, Geometric Background, and Chevron Arrows Background stencils were used to create subtle Alcohol Lift Ink designs on Alcohol inked backgrounds.

I used alcohol inks on Yupo Paper first to create some fun backgrounds. Once the backgrounds were dry, I used the Polka Dot Background, Geometric Background, and Chevron Arrows Background with Alcohol Lift Ink to "lift" some of the ink from the backgrounds. The backgrounds were then die cut with Honey Bee Hexagon Solid Stack Dies, Stacking Stars, or Stacking Hearts Dies.
The Simon Says Stamp Quilted Hearts Background Stamp was stamped with Lawn Fawn Manatee Ink on Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock for the backgrounds.
The Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars Background Stamp was stamped with Lawn Fawn Manatee Ink on Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock for the background.
The Simon Say Stamp Tiny Dots and Hearts Background Stamp, Lattice Grid Background Stamp were stamped with Lawn Fawn Manatee Ink on Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock for the backgrounds.
The cards were finished with a scattering of acrylic hearts and jewels.
