Watch the creation of this rainbow stamped sentiment strips birthday card from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
The background for my card was created with the Cloudy Day Cover Creative Cuts die. Each section of the background was masked with post it tape and inked with Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks. The outer border from the stitching line to the edge was masked and left white for an instant frame.
Critters from the Little Chickie Agenda, Little Monkey Agenda, Little Bear Agenda, Little Cat Agenda, Little Bunny Agenda, and Little Dog Agenda were stamped on Neenah Smooth White Cardstock with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers.
Sentiments from the Birthday Messages Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo, Carrot, Sunflower, Cilantro, Minty Fresh, and Forget-Me-Not inks. The Sweet Feline Creative Cuts or Sentiment Strips were used to cut the phrases into perfect strips.
Stars from The Birthday Bash Stamp Set were stamped over the background with the same colors of Lawn Fawn Ink for a tone-on-tone pattern.
The images and strips were adhered to the background with foam adhesive.
Iridescent star confetti was glued throughout the background to complete the design.
