Happy Friday friends and welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Fresh Bloom Blog Hop, Day 1! Today I've combine the brand new Bunny Wishes stamps and dies with the Tulip Collage Die and Spring Blessings Die for this fun Easter springtime scene card.
The Tulip Collage was die cut from smooth white cardstock, inked with Lawn Fawn Celery and Jalapeno inks, and then colored in with Copic Markers around the opening to add definition to the design. This helps make the frame more a part of the design with the other colored in elements.
A background panel was inked with the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Lawn Fawn Minty Fresh ink. Hearts from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set were stamped with Jalapeno Ink around the front panel.
Images from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set was stamped with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Bunny Wishes dies. Here are the colors of Copic Markers I used:
- Brown bunnies: E30, E31, E55, E57, R20
- Gray bunny: W00, W2, W5, R00
- Eggs, Tulips, etc: RV52, RV55, RV17, B01, B04, B05, BG11, BG13, YR01, YR04, YR09, Y00, Y08, Y17, BV31, BV34
- Tree and leaves: YG21, YG23, YG17, E55, E57, E49
The main image was layered and adhered to the cloud stenciled background. The Tulip Collage panel was adhered over the background with foam adhesive. The birds were adhered to the panel as shown.
The Spring Blessings Die was die cut twice from smooth white cardstock, layered one on top of another and glued in place. Another sentiment from the Bunny Wishes Stamp Set was stamped on Mermaid Cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into a thin strip, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
