My favorite way to create with a card kit is to move everything else off my desk and challenge myself to the kit components only plus inks/tools. Today created six cards with the March Kit only and the last die cut card (the bright one on a white background) still showcases the kit but I also pulled out some of my favorite Fun Stampers Journey cardstocks for a brighter version of the die cut design. I wanted to show how you can still create with the dies well after you've used up all the goodies from your kit!
These butterfly cards features cardstock, die cuts, vellum butterfly stickers, notecards, and patterned papers from the March kit. How pretty are those vellum butterfly stickers? Love them!
For my die cutting examples this month I created one card completely with kit components and the other one features Fun Stamper Journey cardstock from my stash! Same dies, completely different looks! That sentiment on the white background comes from the Relax & Enjoy stamp set (included in the kit or available for individual purchase).
Grouping the pre-made die cuts is always a favorite way to create a quick and easy card design. These florals adhered to woodgrain patterned paper and layered with die cut and sticker sentiments makes a beautiful, feminine birthday design. Sequins from the kit complete the design.
There are two of every die cut in the kit. I love that the same dies can be used in different ways for cards! These cards feature many of the same die cuts or patterned papers but aren't the same design.
