Hello friends! I'm loving the look of tunnel cards. These interactive designs can be created with supplies you have on hand and don't take any special dies to create the card base. I'm super excited to share my latest tunnel card featuring one of my favorite newer stamp sets from Mama Elephant, Wish Upon A Star. Click HERE to see another tunnel card I created and HERE for another card featuring the Wish Upon A Star Stamp Set.

To create the tunnel card base (all pieces die cut from Hero Hues Periwinkle Cardstock):
- Cut 2 - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" panels
- From one 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" panel, score in half to make card base, then trim 1/2" from back of card
- From other 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" panel, score at 1/2", 4 1/4", and 4 3/4" and fold
- Trim another panel a scant 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- Score panel 1/4" from each long side
Over the embossing I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars Background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed the design with white embossing powder. A sentiment from the Mama Elephant, Wish Upon A Star was stamped along the bottom edge of the front of the card using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The tunnel card was assembled according to the step-by-step directions in the video tutorial above (I left the steps for assembly in "real time").
Images from the Mama Elephant, Wish Upon A Star stamp set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Inkon3 Fade Out No Line Coloring Ink and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker color combinations:
- Bunnies: 072 Beige, 074 Light Beige, 028 Pale Pink
- Clouds: 303 Shadow Mauve, 999 Blender
- Fishing Pole, Bird: 037 Cornflour Blue, 999 Blender
- Moon, Stars: 052 Bright Yellow, 050 Yellow, 055 Pale Yellow
Clouds from the Puffy Clouds Creative Cuts Dies were die cut from vellum and adhered to the front of the card. The Mama Elephant, Wish Upon A Star were adhered to the front and inside of the card as shown to build the sweet interactive scene.
The card was finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard on the moon and stars.
