While I used several combinations of Ranger Alcohol Inks to create multiple backgrounds in the video, I settled on my two favorites for the cards below. I used Alcohol Ink colors in Pool, Bottle, Turquoise, and Stream. The colors were placed in a glass dish of water and regular heavyweight Neenah cardstock were "dipped" into the inked mixture and set aside to completely air dry.
A whale and the swans from the Dream Seeker Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using a black ink for Copic Marker coloring. The images were colored with the following marker colors:
Swans: W00, W2, W5, R00, YR04
Whale: C00, C2, C5, C7, C8
The images were die cu with the coordinating dies.
For the whale card a sentiment, stars, and other celestial images were stamped on the dry alcohol ink backgrounds with clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. The whale was adhered with foam adhesive squares. The Starry Night sequins were scattered throughout the design to finish the card.
For the swans card the Bright Days Embossing Folder was embossed on smooth white cardstock. The alcohol inked background was die cut with a Spellbinders Waves Border Die. The wave borders were adhered to the embossed background as shown. A sentiment from the Dream Seeker Stamp Set was stamped on the background with black ink.
The swans were adhered with foam adhesive and the Starry Night sequins were scattered throughout the design to finish the card.

Those backgrounds! WOW! But, how long were your fingers inky? I can't stand the mess, but it just may be worth it. Those embellishments are unique and wonderful, but (I hate to say this) the stamp images look very much like some from Hero Arts.........????? Lovely cards, just not sure I can handle that process. I do trust you, but.....

Lovely backgrounds. There is something about the awesomeness that is achieved by this technique, that just can't be had with a controlled application.

The background technique reminds me of "marbling" paper. Bet it would look great with some merallic added.
