Keep reading to get all the details on how I created this sweet scene and watch the video below for step-by-step instructions!

Watch the creation of this Happy Thanksgiving scene card from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
For the background I inked a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" background with Wild Honey, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. Once blended the background was splattered with Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust. When dry, the Stars Stencil and Hero Hues Sea Salt Reactive Ink was applied over the background. I purposely didn't apply the stars over the entire background for an imperfect effect!
The Spooky Fence was die cut from Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Neutrals brown cardstock and inked with Ground Espresso Distress Ink. The fence was adhered to the background as shown.
A border was die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Stitched Borders 1 Die and inked with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Inks. The border was adhered along the bottom edge of the scene.
A Fall Borders pumpkin image and the scarecrow and pumpkin Fall Signs images were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Inkon3 Fade Out No Line Ink. The images were colored with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Orange Pumpkins: 060 Brown, 061 Light Brown, 065 Mid Brown, 064 Oatmeal
Tan Pumpkins: 072 Beige, 076 Medium Beige, 065 Mid Brown, 064 Oatmeal
Green Pumpkins: 043 Olive Green, 063 Ochre, 065 Mid Brown, 064 Oatmeal
Scarecrow: 072 Beige, 076 Medium Beige, 067 Mustard, 999 Blender, 035 Deep Blue, 302 Haze Blue, 033 Persian Green, 260 Deep Red, 230 Pale Rose, 201 Pink Haze
Signs: 065 Mid Brown, 064 Oatmeal
The Fall Borders were fussy cut and adhered to the scene as shown.
The Fall Signs scarecrow and pumpkin images were die cut with the coordinating dies , sentiments from the stamp set were stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, and the images were adhered to finish the scene.
Smooth white cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive. The Happy Thanksgiving Die was die cut from the layers. Carved Pumpkin and Wild Honey Distress Inks were applied to the die cut sentiment and the greeting was adhered to the design.
