Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy sympathy card with Simon Says Stamp stamps and dies. Consider switching the sentiment to birthday, wedding, friendship, or other occasions if you're not in need of sympathy cards. I'm a big fan of card designs that can be used for many different occasions.
The front panel of the card was trimmed to 3 3/4" x 5" and die cut with the Daisy Square Die.
The square was set to the side and the panel was inked with Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks using the Honey Bee Stamp blending brushes. A background in the same size was also inked to serve as the "backer" of the shaker.
Picket Fence Distress Paint was watered down and splattered over the panels with a small paintbrush and allowed to air dry.
The daisy in the square was colored with Copic Markers in Y08, Y19, YR04, YG21, YG25, and YG17.
The front panel was backed with Lawn Fawn Acetate and the colored in Daisy Square was inlaid into the front panel as shown.
The back of the panel was framed out with two layers of Scotch Foam Adhesive and the "shaker well" was filled with Pretty Pink Posh Confetti. The backer was put in place and the shaker was adhered to a white top fold card base to finish the design.
