Happy Tuesday friends! Today I'm sharing a couple of ice skating critter winter scene cards with you featuring mixing and matching critters from multiple stamp sets and die collections for these adorable cards! I love mixing and matching supplies from my stash. Lawn Fawn does such a good job of creating brand new product that pairs perfectly with previously released stamps and dies, extending the life of those products we own and love! I'll be creating two cards in my video tutorial: one featuring ice skating critters from three different stamp sets and one featuring the only the brand new Mice On Ice images. Both cards feature the same backgrounds just different critters and sentiments!
V I D E O T U T O R I A L
Watch the creation of these ice skating critters scene cards from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
For both cards a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock was die cut with the Stitched Pond, keeping all pieces (the small corners and top). A 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Pearlescent Vellum was colored with B000, B01, and B04 around the "pond" area. The top of the Pearlescent Vellum was colored with B14, B16, and B18. Snowflakes from the or Beary Happy Holidays were stamped along the top edge of the panel with Lawn Fawn Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn White Embossing Powder. Stitching ice skating dies from the Stitched Pond were used to add detail to the pond as shown.
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
Details were added to the scarves with a white pen. A black glaze pen was used to add detail to the eyes of the critters. A Crystal Lacquer Pen was used to add a glossy finish to the noses and hearts.

Watch the creation of this Halloween House Reveal Wheel card from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
The front panel of the Reveal Wheel was die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, and Wild Honey Distress Inks. The Reveal Wheel panel was die cut from Autumn Sparkle black glitter cardstock and then die cut with the Spooky Fence Border and adhered directly to the Reveal Wheel panel. Another panel was die cut from smooth white cardstock and die cut again with a Simple Stitched Hillside Border before being inked with Peeled Pain and Forest Moss Distress Inks.
Sentiments from the Tiny Halloween Stamp Set were stamped on the front of the card for the sentiment and accents.
The Reveal Wheel was stamped with Tiny Halloween images. The images and background were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The Reveal Wheel was assembled according to the video instructions and a sentiment from the Tiny Halloween Stamp Set was stamped along the right side of the design to let the recipient know the card moves!

I'm so excited to share more Masking Stencils cards with you today! These masking stencils are my favorite new thing and they are going to be yours, too! I'm sharing ideas on using masking stencils on colored cardstock, repeatedly masking shapes all over a background, and using the positive and negative of the masking stencils for a background.

Watch the creation of these masking stenciled cards from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
Images from the Fluffy Friends Holiday Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink and colored in with the following Copic Marker colors:
A sentiment from the Fluffy Friends Holiday Stamp Set was stamped in the upper part of the background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. It's important that the background pigment ink stenciling is completely dry before this step.
A 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock was stenciled with the small Masking Ovals Stencil, Candy Corn Ink, Pumpkin Ink and Blending Brushes. The mask was removed and the positive stencil oval was placed over the inked oval and the Brick By Brick Stencil was placed over top and the background was inked with Toffee Ink. The brick stencil was removed and Toffee Ink was blended over the bricks to fill in the "white space".
Images from the Simply Smitten Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink and colored in with the following Copic Marker colors:
A sentiment from the Simply Smitten Stamp Set was stamped on the banner with black ink and the banner and images were die cut with the coordinating dies. The images and banner were adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
From the background panel, the Caps Lock Yay die was die cut. The background was adhered to a white top fold card base. The Caps Lock Yay was die cut from Fun Foam and the foam was inlaid into the design, topping each letter and punctuation with the stenciled die cut letters and punctuation.
The Simple Strips Birthday Stamp was stamped on Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Simple Strips Die was used to die cut the sentiments. Three strips were adhered to the card with foam adhesive and the card was finished with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh gems.

Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set which coordinate perfectly with the new Snow Globe Bitties and coordinating dies. Both my cards feature a trio of snow globes. One card was colored with no line coloring and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and one card and tags were colored with Copic Markers. Subtle embossed frame backgrounds are the perfect accent to these image heavy card designs!

Watch the creation of these snow globe cards and tags from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
Smooth white cardstock backgrounds were embossed using a Snail Mail Die and a Sky Bursters Die. I love the look of using dies to emboss with. It extends the life of a product being able to use them in more than one way!
The images from the Snow Globe Bitties were stamped in the snow globe with Hero Arts Intens-ified Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The labels and sentiments from the Snow Globe Bitties and Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set were stamped on Pitch Black Cardstock using Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The labels were glued to the snow globe base and then adhered to the embossed card base as shown.
For the matching tags, the snow globes were created exactly like for the card. An additional snow globe was die cut from Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock and stamped with Holiday Messages "to" and "from" using clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. A Columbus Circle tag was sandwiched between the two layer for a "hanger". Each tag was finished with Lawn Trimmings Twine in Red Sparkle.
The images from the Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set were stamped in the snow globe with Inkon3 Fade Out No Line Coloring Ink and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The labels and sentiments from the Snow Globe Bitties and Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set were stamped on vellum using Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The labels were adhered to the snow globe base using the Xyron Sticker Maker.
