I used the patterned papers, cardstock, pom poms, Woodland Whimsy Stamp Set, and Ho Ho Deer Circle Die from the Woodland Whimsy Kit on my cards today! One of my favorite things to do is to create multiple cards while I have the supplies out! These adorable die cut deer are colored with Copic Markers and adorned with a red pom pom nose! How fun is that?!!! A curved sentiment and some branches and leaves images from the Woodland Whimsy Stamp Set were stamped around the deer frame for simple, but effective detailing and an additional sentiment from the Clean Line Christmas Stamp Set fills in the "white space" perfectly!
Three sheets of the Modascrap Forever Green woodgrain patterned papers from the kit were trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered to white top fold card bases.
Ivory Cardstock from the kit was trimmed to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". The Ho Ho Deer Circle Die was die cut from each rectangle. Copic Markers in E40, E43, E44, and E47 were used to add color to the deer.
"Sending You Love" from the Woodland Whimsy Stamp Set was stamped underneath each circle frame with SSS Dark Chocolate Ink. Branches and leaves from the stamp set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink and colored in with YG95, YG97, R35, and R39 Copic Markers for a no-line coloring look. The branches and leaves help frame up the deer die cut opening perfectly!
"Season's Greetings" from the Clean Line Christmas Stamp Set were stamped with SSS Lipstick Red Ink and Olive Ink. The larger sentiment fills the bottom part of the panel perfectly. The panel was backed with a piece of Lawn Fawn Acetate.
Foam Adhesive was placed on the background and the "well" was filled with Hero Arts Icicle Glitter. The panel was placed on top for a "snowy" look behind the reindeer! A red pom pom was glued in place for the nose and black cardstock was die cut and inlaid into the eyes to finish the reindeer face and finish the card!
