Do you love interactive cards like I love interactive cards? Get ready, friends! Simon Says Stamp and Art Impressions have teamed up to bring us this amazing Holiday Flip Card Set to make the most darling interactive holiday flip cards with either snowmen or penguins (or in my case I couldn't choose so I made both!)!

To create the card bases, I trimmed Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 6 1/2" x 5 1/2". I die cut the Flip Card Die at 3 1/4", besecting the 6 1/2" side. Using a grid work surface helps to line up both ends of the die at 3 1/4".
The snowmen from the Holiday Flip Card Set were stamped with Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Color Ink. The image was stamped again on masking paper and adhered over the card image. A "snow" border was creating by die cutting masking paper with the Drifting Stitches Die. Hero Hues Splash and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks were applied over the entire front surface of the card. Water was spritzed over the panel for "snow" distressing and immediately dried with a heat tool.
*Tip* Secure your card to your work surface if it's slick so that it doesn't slide around and get the back of the card inky.
Greetings and snowflakes from the Holiday Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set were stamped on the design with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The masks were removed to color in the images.
I colored in the snowmen with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Snowman #1 (top hat): Dark Gray, Light Gray, Haze Blue, Blender, Pink Haze, Green, Light Green, Yellow Green, Deep Red, Red, Orange, Bright Yellow
Snowman #2 (vest): Haze Blue, Blender, Deep Red, Red, Orange, Bright Yellow, Pink Haze, Dark Gray, Light Gray
Snowman #3 (coat): Haze Blue, Blender, Pink Haze, Orange, Bright Yellow, Green, Light Green, Yellow Green, Deep Red, Red
Snowman #4 (sweater): Haze Blue, Blender, Pink Haze, Orange, Bright Yellow, Green, Light Green, Yellow Green, Deep Red, Red
Candy Canes: Deep Red, Red, Light Gray, Blender, Green
The inside of the card was created just like the front, except the tab and top of the card were also masked before inking. A greeting from the Holiday Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set was stamped on the flip tab near the top to leave room for a short greeting and to sign your name.
The penguins from the Holiday Flip Card Set were stamped with Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Color Ink. The image was stamped again on masking paper and adhered over the card image. A "snow" border was creating by die cutting masking paper with the Drifting Stitches Die. Hero Hues Splash and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks were applied over the entire front surface of the card.
