Alcohol Link Ink and the Snowflake Builder Stamp Set were used on each background to "life" the ink from the backgrounds. The ink "lifts" from the regular alcohol ink rather easily. The metallic ink doesn't work as well but I was going for a more distressed background so that worked for my purposes on these cards. I recommend using a stamp positioner tool like the MISTI for perfect placement. This also helps in case you need to stamp more than once with the alcohol ink. I hold the lid of the MISTI in place for 30 seconds or so before lifting. I then dab at the stamped images gently to remove the excess Alcohol Lift Ink. Once the excess is removed I buff away the remaining ink to reveal the gorgeous "ghosted" images!
Pretty Pink Posh Peal White Jewels were adhered to the die cut snowflake centers as well as some of the stamped designs for an extra touch of sparkle.

Hello friends! Today I have a couple of snowflake builder cards featuring the Simon Says Stamp January 2020 Card Kit, Snowflake Builder! Multiple products from the January Kit were used for this set of stamped cards and matching stamped envelopes. The Snowflake Builder Stamp Set, Kaisercraft 6x6 patterned paper, Slate A2 Envelope, and White A2 Envelope are all from the kit. Hi sweet friends! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy one layer watercolor Christmas card with the Christ Is Born Stamp Set. This gorgeous set is perfect for creating nativity-themed holiday cards and projects. A stamped and embossed image was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen for a stunning one layer watercolor card.

The nativity images from the Christ Is Born Stamp Set was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with a clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in the following colors and a water brush pen were used to color the image and background:
A sentiment from the Christ Is Born Stamp Set was stamped to the right of the design using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The Salvaged Bricks Stencil was used with gray ink to add texture to the inside of the stable.
An additional sentiment from the Christ Is Born Stamp Set was stamped inside the card with gray ink to finish the card.

For the background of the card Ballet Slippers, Guava, Chili Pepper, Cilantro, Noble Fir, Mermaid, and Peacock cardstock was trimmed into 1/4" strips and adhered at a diagonal to a side fold card base. The excess of the strips was trimmed away and the card opened up to lay flat.
