The house panels, eaves, and connector were die cut from Lawn Fawn Fog Cardstock using the original House Builder dies. The Salvaged Bricks Stencil was applied to the house pieces with Pinkfresh Studio Misty Coast Ink with a blending brush.
I love that the house dies (and many other dies) can be customized with the new stencil offerings from Honey Bee Stamps! In addition to the Salvaged Bricks Stencil, there is also the Perfect Bricks Stencil, Shiplap Siding Stencil, Shingles Stencil, and Scalloped Shingles Stencil! So many incredible options for your house building!
The rest of the gingerbread house elements were die cut from Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock, Hero Hues Meadow Cardstock, smooth white cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Slate Gray Cardstock, Simon Says Stamp White Glitter Cardstock, and Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Traditions 6x6 patterned paper using elements from both the House Builder and Gingerbread House Add On.
The pieces were assembled as shown. Multiple wreaths adorn the house. In fact, I placed one on every window. Repetition is often a valuable tool in cardmaking! It gives the house a more cohesive look much like a real house, don't you think?!!!
The candy cane pieces were die cut from both Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock and smooth white cardstock. The white pieces were trimmed apart and glued to the red candy cane for the two-tone look.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard was applied to the candy canes and gum drops.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White was applied in drops to the roof of the gingerbread house.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry was appleid to the wreaths for "berries".
Glossy Accents was applied to the bows on the wreaths.
A sentiment from the Christmas Blessings Stamp Set was stamped on the door with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The house was assembled according to the directions in the video tutorial.
