The background of the card was created by trimming Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4", stamping postage images from the Main Kit with Strawberry Ink all over the background for a tone-on-tone look.
The bouquet wrapper was die cut from Hero Hues Peony Cardstock and stamped with the text background stamp from the Main Kit with Cotton Candy Ink.
The flowers from the Main Kit were all die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored in with the following Copic Marker color combinations:
- Reddish-Pink: R30, R32, R35
- Peach: R000, R01, R02
- Pink: RV10, RV11
- Stems: G000, G02
- Leaves: YG11, YG13
- Butterfly: Y11, Y08, E79
The flowers were tucked into the bouquet wrapper and finished with Crystal Lacquer.
A greeting from the Main Kit was stamped on Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The strip was die cut with a die from the Main Kit and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
My second card features the incredible Add On Cup Of Love Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
To create the striped background along the bottom edge of the card cardstock in Hero Hues Peony, Hero Hues Azalea, Hero Hues Cherry, and Simon Says Stamp Mint were trimmed into 1/4" strips and adhered to a 2" x 5.5" strip of smooth white cardstock. This is a great way to use of leftover cardstock and create your own patterned paper! The strip was adhered along the bottom edge of a white side fold card base.
Images from the Cup of Love Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:
- Pink Cup with foam & hearts: RV10, RV11, RV14, RV17, E40, E43, R30, R32, R35
- Mint Cup filled with hearts: G000, G00, G02, R30, R32, R35, RV10, RV11, RV14, R000, R01, R02
- Peach Caraffe: R000, R01, R02, R30, R32, R35
- Reddish-peach mug: R30, R32, R35
- Spoon with heart: G000, G00, G02, R30, R32, R35
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the top of the card as shown. Steam from the Cup of Love Stamp Set was stamped above one of the mugs with Intens-ified Black Ink.
A greeting from the Cup Of Love Stamp Set was stamped on the mint mug with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Crystal Lacquer was applied to the hearts for a glossy, raised finish.
Additional greetings from the Main Kit were stamped on Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The strips were die cut with a die from the Main Kit and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
