Hello friends! I just love a good rainbow stripe, don't you?!!! I'm sharing a couple of birthday cards started from a single background that started out with wanting to showcase a striped die cut sentiment. I am always needing birthday cards so anytime I can create more than one in a sitting, it's a good thing! Both cards feature multiple MFT Stamps stamps and dies, many brand new from the February Release or other recent releases! Let's get started!

The new Number Jumble Background was stamped on a 4" x 5 1/4" smooth white background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Satin Pearl embossing powder. I picked this embossing powder because I wanted a tone-on-tone background that showed up a little better than a white or clear embossed background.
The You Take The Cake Die was die cut from the background as shown.
A rainbow of cardstock strips were trimmed to approximately 1/8" wide and adhered to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of smooth white cardstock with a layer of Stick It Adhesive on the front. The panel was run through my Spellbinders Platinum die cutting machine to flatten the strips and secure them to the Stick It Adhesive.
The You Take The Cake Die was die cut from the striped background as shown.
The pieces and backgrounds were adhered to white top fold card bases as shown. I love that there is no waste with this design! I ran both cards through my die cutting machine again to secure the sentiment inlay into both backgrounds.
The Mini Cupcake Maker Dies were die cut from multiple cardstock and assembled to the top of the die cut greeting as shown. Glossy Accents was applied to the cherry and sprinkles on the cupcakes.
A Sweethearts Embellishment was glued to each cupcake wrapper as shown.
Greetings from the Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set were stamped on Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrases were die cut with Skinny Strips and adhered to the cards with foam adhesive to finish the design.
