THE CARD BACKGROUND
For the card background, Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Cardstock was stamped with the Outline Snowflakes Background Stamp using clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. Audrey Blue Ink was blended over the stamped and embossed background for a bit of shading.
EMBELLISHING THE CARD
The Santa pup was created by die cutting Lawn Fawn Paper Bag Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Chocolate Bar Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Glitter Cardstock, and Hero Arts Cherry Cardstock using the Picture Book Santa Pup Die and Big Picture Book Little Body Die. The pieces were assembled and adhered to the design as shown. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony was used for the eyes and the nose was embellished with Glossy Accents.
Images from the Christmas Icons Dies were die cut from Hero Arts Cherry Cardstock, Hero Arts Meadow Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Glitter Cardstock, and smooth white cardstock, assembled and tucked into the pup's arms.
Additional Christmas Icons Dies were die cut from an assortment of cardstock colors and adhered around the design.
For the sentiment, the Joyful Die was die cut from and Hero Arts Cherry Cardstock and smooth white cardstock. The die cut greeting was adhered to appear to be in front of the pup as if he's hanging over the title hanging on.
A phrase from the Tiny Words Christmas Stamp Set was stamped on black cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrase was die cut with a Nested Banners Die and adhered below the die cut word with foam adhesive.
The envelope was die cut from Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Cardstock using the A2 V Flap Envelope. Before assembling, the Snowflakes Stencil was used to add a design with Audrey Blue Ink. The envelope was assembled as shown in the video above.
The Picture Book Santa Pup Die was die cut from Lawn Fawn Paper Bag Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Chocolate Bar Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Glitter Cardstock, and Hero Arts Cherry Cardstock. The pieces were assembled and adhered to the envelope flap as shown. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony was used for the eyes and the nose was embellished with Glossy Accents.
