Happy July 1st! Today I'm sharing an easy watercolored floral background featuring a new background from the MFT Stamps mid-month June Release! I played with the Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers for this pretty floral design. Simple heat embossing and a stamped die cut greeting (leftover from a previous project) were the perfect finishing touches! Let's get started!

The background was colored with a Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers in 189 Sapphire Blue. The flowers were colored with 654 Turquoise, 204 Cool Aqua, and 283 Gold. A water brush pen was used to help blend out the background and flowers.
Once the background was completely dry, two Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Squares Hot Foil Plates were foiled over the background with Gold Foil. I purposely picked two frames just slightly larger than the sentiment square I'm using for the design.
A Simon Says Stamp Thanks and Encouragement Word Mix 1 (stamped with black ink and die cut with the coordinating Word Mix 1 Die) was leftover from a previous project. The greeting was adhered with foam adhesive as shown.
The card was finished with a scattering of sequins and Nuvo Crystal Drops.
