Today I am sharing a trio of cards using lots of My Monthly Hero stamps and dies add ons! The add ons are so, so good, y'all! My cards feature simple stamped and embossed backgrounds with all three of the new August Release Bold Prints Backgrounds (you're going to want them all, they're so awesome!), Copic Coloring Die Cuts (Bird House Fancy Die, Greetings From Stamp & Cut, August Word Fancy Die), and new stamped and colored images from the Lounging Pups Stamp Set! I hope these Staycation themed products and projects inspire you to create some fun cards this month! L

AUGUST FANCY WORD CARD
The Pool Party Bold Prints Background was stamped on Hero Arts Mist Cardstock with Hero Arts Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The background was trimmed to 3 3/4" x 5". The edges were inked with Sea Salt Reactive Ink to soften the edges. The panel was adhered to a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Hero Arts Nautical Cardstock.
The August Word Fancy Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers in YG25, YG17, G28, E55, E57, YR31, YR23, R35, R37, R59, B34, and B37. The die was cut three more times from smooth white cardstock and stacked one on top of another before being adhered to the card as shown.
The Lounging Pups Stamp Set image was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Itens-ified Ink and colored in with Copic Markers in R35, R37, R59, B34, B37, Y08, B00, and B01. The image was die cut with the coordinating Lounging Pups Die and adhered to the panel with foam adhesive.
A greeting from the Lounging Pups Stamp Set was stamped on Nautical Cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrase was die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Nested Banners Die and adhered to the card.
The design was finished with crystal clear heart accents.
GREETINGS FROM YOUR BIGGEST FAN CARD
The Destination Home Bold Prints Background was stamped on Hero Arts Mist Cardstock with Hero Arts Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The background was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4". The edges were inked with Sea Salt Reactive Ink and Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink to soften the edges. The panel was adhered to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of Hero Arts Nautical Cardstock.
The Greetings From Stamp & Cut Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers in R35, R37, and R59. The die was cut three more times from smooth white cardstock and stacked one on top of another.
The Lounging Pups Stamp Set images were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Itens-ified Ink and colored in with Copic Markers in E53, E55, E57, B34, B37, YG25, YG17, R35, R37, and R59. The images were die cut with the coordinating Lounging Pups Die.
The US Map Infinity Die was die cut from Sand Cardstock and the edges were inked with Cup O'Joe Ink. A sentiment from the Greetings From Stamp & Cut Die was stamped on the die cut with Hero Arts Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Another phrase from the Greetings From Stamp & Cut Die was stamped on Nautical Cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrase was die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Die and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
The Lounging Pups Stamp Set images were adhered to the card as shown. The die cut greetings was adhered and adhered to the top of the panel.
The design was finished with crystal clear heart accents.
BIRD HOUSE CARD
The State Cation Bold Prints Background was stamped on Hero Arts Mist Cardstock with Hero Arts Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The background was trimmed to 3" x 5 1/2". The edges were inked with Sea Salt Reactive Ink and Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink to soften the edges. The panel was adhered to a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" panel of Hero Arts Nautical Cardstock.
The Greetings From Stamp & Cut Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers in B34, B37, YR31, and YR23. The die was cut three more times from smooth white cardstock and stacked one on top of another.
The Bird House Fancy Cuts Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers in YR31, YR23, E55, E57, B34, B37, R35, R37, and R59. The house and stand were both die cut three more times from smooth white cardstock and adhered one on top of another. The bird house and bird were assembled and adhered to the card as shown.
A phrase from the Greetings From Stamp & Cut Die was stamped on Nautical Cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrase was die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Die and adhered to the card with foam adhesive. The die cut greeting was adhered to the bird house as shown.
The design was finished with crystal clear heart accents.

Your dog cards crack me up. I love it when dogs look like they are human. I have two that think they are people. The beautiful blue background with the awesome background stamp is a really great idea!
