Happy Monday and welcome to the September My Monthly Hero Blog Hop!
Today I have a card showcase featuring die cut pumpkin (and jack-o-lantern!) cards to share with you featuring the September My Monthly Hero September Add Ons. I'm using SIX of the add on products for my cards: Pumpkin Window Die, September Word Fancy Die, Color Layering Moonlit Night Stamp Set, Autumn Bouquet Fancy Dies, Jack-O-Lantern Fancy Dies, and Wheelbarrow Friends Stamp SEt. In addition to the incredible add-ons this month (I mean, I am READY for fall, so these beauties were right up my alley!), I am using a couple of my current favorite Simon Says Stamp background stamps: Crackle Background and Wood Planks Background, the Hero Arts Spider Web Texture Fancy Die, and the bird from last month's (August 2020) Bird House Fancy Dies.

AUTUMN BOUQUET IN PUMPKIN CARD
The Simon Says Stamp Wood Planks Background was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate Ink. Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks were blended over the dye ink stamped background for a realistic-looking wood plank patterned paper. I love this background stamp!
The pumpkin and lid from the Jack-O-Lantern Fancy Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn Speckled Eggshell Cardstock and colored with E40, E43, E44 Copic Markers. A sentiment from the Wheelbarrow Friends Stamp Set was stamped in the center of the die cut pumpkin with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
The florals and leaves from the Autumn Bouquet Fancy Dies were die cut from the following cardstock colors and shaded with Copic Markers:
- Sunflowers & yellow leaves: Lawn Fawn Sunflower Cardstock (YR23, YR24, E57, E59)
- Stems & green leaves: Hero Arts Palm Cardstock (YG97, YG99)
- Flower stems/sprigs: Hero Arts Pesto Cardstock (YG95)
- Red leaves/flowers: Hero Arts Cranberry Cardstock (R46, R89)
- Orange flowers: Lawn Fawn Canned Pumpkin Cardstock (YR27)
- Plum flowers: Hero Arts Plum Cardstock (RV69)
- Bow: Hero Arts Sand Cardstock (E55, E57)
- Wheat: Lawn Fawn Speckled Eggshell Cardstock (E40, E43, E44)
The images were assembled and adhered as shown with a combination of liquid and foam adhesive.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in an assortment of colors were added to flower centers and to the sprigs to finish the design.
WICKED COOL JACK-O-LANTERN CARD
The Hero Arts Spider Web Texture Fancy Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. The background was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and allowed to completely air dry.
A sentient from the Color Layering Moonlit Night Stamp Set was stamped on the background with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.
The pumpkin, pumpkin top, face, and candle from the Jack-O-Lantern Fancy Dies, leaves from Autumn Bouquet Fancy Dies, and "crow" from the Bird House Fancy Dies were die cut from colored cardstock and shaded with Copic Markers. The combinations are listed below:
- White pumpkin: Lawn Fawn Speckled Eggshell Cardstock (E40, E43, E44)
- Orange Pumpkin & lid: Lawn Fawn Canned Pumpkin Cardstock (YR24,YR27, E57,E59)
- Candle: Hero Arts Canary Cardstock (YR23, YR27, RV66, RV69)
- Crow: Simon Says Stamp Slate Gray Cardstock (W6, W7, W10)
- Red leaves: Hero Arts Cranberry Cardstock (R46, R89)
- Yellow leaves: Lawn Fawn Sunflower Cardstock (YR23, YR24)
- Green leaves: Hero Arts Palm Cardstock (YG97, YG99)
The images were assembled and adhered as shown with a combination of liquid and foam adhesive.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black was added to the crow's eye.
Mini silver star confetti was adhered to the sky to finish the design.
SEPTEMBER PUMPKIN CARD
The Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. Speckled Egg and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks were applied over the embossed background for embossed resist.
The Pumpkin Window Die was die cut from Lawn Fawn Canned Pumpkin Cardstock, Hero Arts Sand Cardstock, and Hero Arts Chestnut Cardstock. The image was colored with YR24, YR27, E55, E57, and E59 Copic Markers. The pieces were temporarily held together with post it tape on the back and a greeting from the Color Layering Moonlit Night Stamp Set was stamped on the pumpkin with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The pumpkin was adhered to the crackle background.
The September Fancy Word Die was die cut three times from 110 lb weight Neenah Smooth Cardstock. The top layer was colored with B34, B37, B39, YR31, YR23, YR24, YR27, R56, R89, YG95, YG97, and YG99 Copic Markers. The layers were adhered one on top of another for dimension and then glued in place on the card as shown.
Leaves from the Autumn Bouquet Fancy Dies were die cut and colored like the previous two cards and tucked next to the pumpkin and die cut word.
Nuvo Crystal Drops and mini hearts were added to the design to finish the card.
