Watch the creation of this stenciled birthday card and matching envelope from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
The Freestyle Flowers Stencil was placed over the background with Pixie Spray. The Distress Inks were applied over the stencil for a tone-on-tone effect. While the stencil was still in place, Gina K Iridescent Glitter Glitz was applied over the stencil and spread thin with Stencil Pal.
The mask was removed and the background was set aside to completely dry.
Pro tip Clean the stencil, media mat, and any tools right away so the Glitter Glitz removes easily.
The background was trimmed down to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhered to a white top fold card base.
The Happy Birthday Brush Script was die cut from Honey Bee Hot Tropic Patterned Paper and smooth white cardstock. The greeting was stacked one on top of another and adhered to the die cut shadow. The sentiment was adhered to the card background as shown.
A Birthday Sentiment Strip was trimmed and adhered to the card background with foam adhesive.
The card was finished with a scattering of mini hearts.
A floral image and greeting from the Freestyle Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on the envelope with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder to complete the set.
