A background was die cut from Neenah Smooth White Cardstock using a Slimline Nested Rectangle Die. Bears from the Simon Says Stamp Love You Beary Much 6" x 8" Stamp Set were stamped and masked on the panel using black ink. While the masks were in place Festive Berries Distress Ink was lightly applied to the background. The Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Hearts 6" x 6" Stencil was then stenciled over the top with the same ink for a sweet tone-on-tone effect.
The masks were removed and the bears were colored with the following Copic Marker color combinations:
- Bear #1: E40, E43, E44, E47, E49, R00
- Bear #2: W4, W5, W6, W8, R00
- Bear #3: E40, E43, E44, E47, E49, R00
- Bear #4: W3, W4, W5, W6, R00
- Bear #5: E55, E57, R00
The bear image was stamped again on five Simple Stories Sweet Talk 6" x 8" Paper and the hearts were fussy cut and adhered to each bear. The image was stamped five times on white cardstock, the paws colored, fussy cut, and adhered to the hearts.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Love You Beary Much 6" x 8" Stamp Set were stamped on one patterned paper heart and several hearts in the sky with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Glossy Accents was applied to the bear's noses and the panel adhered to a white slimline card base to finish the design.

So cute, loving the total mix of ways to colour up a card from stamping, Copic colouring, paper piecing etc. You made masking look so easy, I must admit I do love the minute when the masks peek off & wow !! Keep on sharing as I love your work. Stay safe, healthy & happy x

Are you kidding me?! I have had a "thing" for bears this year and these are so stinkin' cute. I love the paper piecing, something I forget to use...thanks for the reminder. I am also anxious to try the SSS Masking Paper you used - the one I use is so think that it leaves a space around the masked image.....not cool. You know I am a big fan and these sweet guys have my heart - ha! Thanks, as always for the inspiration.

Amazing card! They're so cute!!!!! Loved the coloring. Am wondering if the grey bear's pants got mixed up with some bleach in the wash? Ha Ha. I've done that, also, finished a card and then see a big place that I didn't address. At least, we can laugh at ourselves. I can't get into my Google acct. and they don't acknowledge when I tell them.

Adorable card, Nichol. I love the detail you added to the bear paws. And, I think I like the brown bear farthest to the right the best. The color reminds me of a classic teddy bear. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm super excited to get my kit!
