Hello friends! Today I have some non-traditional "Valentine's" colors cards to share with you. The remaining cards for my 2021 Handmade Hearts & Things Series will feature "non-valentine's" projects. Today's design can be used for many different occasions. I created sympathy and friend cards but these could just as easily be Valentine's, birthdays, hello, thank you, or almost any other occasion. Keep reading and/or watch the video tutorial for all the details.

The Simon Says Stamp Quilted Hearts Background was stamped on Lawn Fawn Sage Leaf Cardstock with Sage Leaf Ink for a beautiful, subtle tone-on-tone background.
The background was die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Basic Rectangles Wafer Die. Die cut images were adhered to the center rectangle and the excess was trimmed away as shown.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Sketched Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on each background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The outer frame and center rectangle were adhered to a white top fold card base.
A Simon Says Stamp A2 Thin Frames Wafer Dies was die cut from white heavy weight cardstock and adhered over the design as shown.
White heart accents were adhered to the cards to finish the design.

Hi Nichol. Your cards are beautiful. I have never seen a card with a thin frame feature that I didn't like. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love hearts....all year and at all times, so I am so happy you are continuing this series. I've never been a big fan of yellow, but after seeing how you've used it.....second thoughts! Thanks for all this inspiration.
