Welcome to the Altenew Craft-A-Flower Cistus Release Blog Hop!
I created an all over repeating layered flower background with the brand new dies. A simple vellum wrap with a stamped and embossed sentiment is the perfect way to add a greeting to this pretty design.

CRAFT-A-FLOWER CISTUS CARD
Products featured:
- Altenew Craft-A-Flower Cistus Dies
- Altenew Fairy Tale Rose Stamp Set
- More supplies linked in the supply list at the bottom of this post
A background was created by trimming SSS Lemon Chiffon Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4".
The Altenew Craft-A-Flower Cistus Dies were die cut from SSS White Cardstock, SSS Cream Off Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt Cardstock, SSS Lemon Chiffon Cardstock, and Lawn Fawn Sunflower Cardstock. The leaves from the set were die cut from Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock, Hero Arts Meadow Cardstock, and Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Cardstock. The pieces were assembled and layered as shown. The excess was trimmed off the sides of the panel. Extra pieces were used to fill in open spots around the edges.
Greetings from the Altenew Fairy Tale Rose Stamp Set were stamped on SSS Vellum with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Cream Embossing Powder.
A Scor Pal was used to score 1/8" along each long side. The strip was wrapped around the panel and secured to the back. The background was adhered to a white top fold card base to finish the design.

Thanks for the great video showing your process to create your wonderful flowers! The white, cream and other card stock “colors” really do add dimension to the flowers.

Your color selection is perfect! I love the varying "white colors"- they really add dimension without the fuss of coloring with a pencil or alcohol marker. These colors are on my "to buy" list right now! I love the Altenew build-a-flowers...I'm collecting them all. I don't know what I will do with them all, but I'm collecting them! :)

What a gorgeous card. Just put my email in to get those dies as they are out of stock. Yes, I would like to see the comparison of the cream and the white embossing powders. I think I may get that cream anyhow as it seems less "out there". So pretty.

The colors are lovely. Background and central design all at once. Feels very "springy" without being gaudy.
