Nichole - this is such a sweet thing that you do - all of us sincerely appreciate it because as card makers we want to keep cards relevant in peoples minds. Too many have started to rely on the internet to send greetings back and forth but there is NOTHING that compares to receiving a card in your mailbox. It gives you a lift - it brightens your day and its a reminder that someone was thinking about you. I wish there were a way to get a national movement going to encourage people to send cards! My friends and family have told me that they look forward every year to what kind of card I'm going to send them and that they've kept each and every one. Some of the cards we make take a significant amount of time and while that time is spent in enjoyment, its a huge compliment to know that our recipients treasure and cherish our works of art. Keep it going! I haven't received my card from you yet, but in time, I will.

Nichol, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for the card I received off you in the last sent with a hug. It really cheered me up, I've had to shield myself for the last 14 months due to having such a weak immune system due to covid. Although I've tried to stay crafting & talking to family & friends via web, I didn't realise how low I felt till I opened your stunning card & cried. It was a fantastic cheer me up & I can't ever thank you enough. Stay safe, healthy & creating beautiful cards x

Wow!!! I just started following you....and this is awesome! Just awesome!!! I love it! If I had a larger stash...I would do that same thing....but just little me and my hobby. I would like to share a story tho- my daughter is our local Little Miss Cherokee County Fair Princess....and when the pandemic hit hard and nursing homes were closed to visitors....she/we decided to make hand made cards for each and every resident in the nursing homes and care facilities in our county, from her. She did make most all herself, with my help in cutting and making a few. We stuck with a basic simple card....because we needed over 200! She did this for about 4 months. She did this because I was making spare cards and taking them to the facilities myself, but not as many. And I made cards and left at church for others to use and send. It was so fun! I am proud of her! Being back in school and busy it was hard for her to keep up. But I think I will get back into making as many as I can and taking to the nursing homes again. So, yes! A nice hand made card is such a great gift in many lives, a hug in envelope...creating smiles!
